Valerie has instructed students of all ages on piano, violin, viola, cello, guitar and ukulele since 2001. She believes in patience, positive reinforcement, making classes fun, and teaching students how to read the notes and thoroughly understand music theory, as well as mastery of their instrument.
Valerie has a Bachelors Degree from California State Fullerton, where she majored in Musical Performance, graduating with high honors. She has performed with American Youth Symphony at UCLA, Chapman Symphony Orchestra, CSUF Symphony Orchestra, and has recorded and performed extensively with numerous pop, rock and folk musicians in the Los Angeles area.
