  • Equipment: Yamaha U1 Commercial Series Upright Piano

Room 4 (Complimentary Theory Lab)

  • Utilized For: Music Theory Lab
  • Equipment: Complimentary music theory lab accessible to all Academy students! 

We pride ourselves on being the only academy in LA County to provide free university-level theory lab access to all students, at no extra cost. Theory lab includes exercises and modules suited to both adults as well as young learners!

  • Utilized For: Piano, Voice, Guitar, Ukulele, Violin, Woodwind, Brass, and Music Theory Lessons
  • Equipment: Steinway Model A Grand Piano and Yamaha U1 Commercial Series Upright Piano

Room 6

  • Utilized For: Piano, Voice, Guitar, Ukulele, Violin, Viola, Cello, Woodwind, Brass, and Music Theory Lessons
  • Equipment: Electronic Drum Kit and Yamaha Piano

Altadena Academy of Music is located in the shopping center at the northwest corner of the intersection of North Lake Avenue and Calaveras Street. There is a parking lot with free parking and the Academy is on the second floor in Suite 207. We are conveniently located on the border of Pasadena, CA and Altadena, CA – across from the Aldi Supermarket. 

Please note, all classes are held at our East Walnut Locataion until remediation efforts are completed at our Lake Avenue facility. Moving forward, all classes will be available at both locations.
