Taylor is a professional drummer/guitarist, music educator and producer/songwriter based in the Los Angeles area. He holds an AA degree from the world renowned drum program at Musicians Institute where he immersed himself in intense drum set and percussion studies, music theory and music business courses.

Upon graduating from Musicians Institute, Taylor toured the world playing for a number of major artists including Lenka (Sony), Hunter Hunted (RCA), Emily Osment (Hannah Montana), Zella Day (Hollywood Records) and many others while sharing the stage with huge acts such as Weezer, Fun., Enrique Iglesias, and Fitz & The Tantrums to name a few. In addition to years of live and studio playing experience, Taylor also works as a producer and songwriter and is currently collaborating with a number of exciting up and coming artists such as Caroline Smith and Wes Period.

Taylor has been teaching drums, guitar, bass, ukulele, and songwriting since 2006 to students of all ages and levels. His teaching style revolves around customizing lessons to the student’s goals and needs. His enthusiasm, positive energy, and ability to break difficult concepts down into something that anyone can understand are all traits that make Taylor an ideal instructor for any student.
