Guitar lessons can start any time of the year and we teach children as young as 7 and adult students at the beginning through advanced levels. Guitar students at our Academy can choose from a variety of styles such as pop, jazz, rock, blues, and classical.

Beginner students usually start with a 30-minute lesson once per week with the guitar instructor. The teacher will demonstrate how to properly play the guitar as well as how to care for the instrument. Students will learn to read music, build a solid understanding of rhythm, and enjoy creative exploration through composition, improvisation, and performance.

Acoustic guitar is a great instrument for children to start with since many acoustic guitars can be found in smaller sizes for young learners. Electric guitar is a popular instrument for teenagers, but students of all ages can find inspiration when they hear and feel the power of the electric guitar.

The tuition for weekly 30-minute private guitar lessons is $144 per month. There is a discount for families with more than one student enrolled.
