Alethea has taught guitar, piano, voice, violin and ukulele for over 5 years now. Having a background as a soccer coach, she knows how to inspire, encourage, and mentor her students. Every student is unique and she learns what the goals and learning styles of each one are in order to help them flourish. She has taught kids and adult students of all ages.
Alethea has a minor in Music from Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA and studied with the greatest musicians in New York City. She played in the Metropolitan Youth Symphony and Portland Youth Philharmonic as a child. As an adult, she has toured the world performing her own songs and with other bands. Most recently, she was in New York, performing with her Rock Band, Alethea & Co. on guitar and vocals.
