Bass guitar lessons can start any time of the year and we teach children and adults students at the beginning through advanced levels. Bass guitar students can choose from a variety of styles such as pop, jazz, rock, blues, and classical.

Beginning students usually start with a 30 minute lesson once per week with the bass guitar instructor. The teacher will demonstrate how to properly hold and play the bass as well as how to care for the instrument. Students will also learn to read music, build a solid understanding of rhythm, and enjoy creative exploration through composition, improvisation and performance.

Bass guitar is a great instrument for students of all ages to begin their studies and musical explorations. We recommend starting children on bass guitar no younger than age 8, as a certain degree of hand strength is required.
