Amanda is a singer/songwriter currently based in Los Angeles. She began studying piano and voice at the age of 5 and grew up actively participating in a local vocal group and youth choir. She went on to study Vocal Performance at the Los Angeles College of Music, where she graduated in 2016 on the President’s Honor Roll. During her time there, she studied under the direction of some of the industry's bests including American jazz singer Tierney Sutton and mastered a wide variety of musical styles including pop, jazz, R&B, folk, world, musical theater, and alternative rock.
As a teacher, Amanda believes the key to success is to understand each student's goals, needs and to have fun. She teaches with patience, openness, and creativity, allowing the students to gain the necessary knowledge and skill to reach their individual goal as well as to remind them that music is all about having a good time.
